The children running at 3.48 is such an amazing scene. When is release. A great deal of dialogue from the book is cut out in this scene. Among the lines that were cut out is Aragorn"s response in which he says the Dunedain rangers also keep the lands of Middle-Earth safe, in response to Boromir"s boast that Gondor alone holds Mordor at bay. Another change they made is that Aragorn is evasive in this scene about being Isildur"s heir, asking Legolas to sit back down. In the book, when it is revealed that he is Isildur"s heir, he proclaims that he will return to Minas Tirith. And shortly before the journey begins, Narsil is reforged into Anduril. But in the films that does not happen until Return of the King.

This has to be one of the best sequences in any movie for me. It shows a peaceful life, a simple life, devoid of politics, war, hate, fear, and racism. It hits close to home for me, growing up in Newfoundland, Canada. we live uncomplicated lives, living (mostly) off the land, tilling the earth, and forming tight-knit and close communities. Every birthday is a celebration, everyone knows everyone else, and as far as we"re concerned, the problems of the world are miles and miles away. I want to retire to the closest thing to the Shire as I can.

There"s always been a Baggins living here under the hill... in Bag End... and there always will be. Sadly, Frodo was the last Baggins to live there. Golum is gonna be better than Jaja binks ??. Quite simply, everything you could ever want in a movie ! Wonderful characters, heartfelt acting, wondrous locations, scenery and photography. I strongly recommend everyone to see this film at their earliest opportunity.

Why there are so many scenes that are not in any version of the movie. When Bilbo said there will always be a Baggins in the Shire, I almost teared up almost like I remembered the entire movie in one second...

There"s always been a Baggins living here, under the hill, in Bag End. And there always will. It"s so sad that this isn"t actually true, since Frodo and Bilbo go with the elves to the west. Sauron"s most deadly servants the Nazgul with umbrellas. that made me laugh so much. 3:39 that Leit Motif gets more emotional as it reprises in each sequel. Elronds like ” ugh, I don"t need this shit”. It is extremely difficult for me to describe the love and passion I have for this movie. I have never been in such awe in a movie theatre in all my life. It is just perfect. I have always had great respect and admiration for Tolkien, but was never exactly a true fan. Now that I have seen Peter Jackson"s brilliant vision of Tolkien"s creation I have to get back and read his books. I have never seen an adventure movie with such character depth and superb acting. Everyone was perfect. I really cared for these characters. Elijah Wood gave his best performance ever. Ian Mckellan of course was brilliant as Gandalf. As a matter of fact, he truly is Gandalf. No one else could have pulled it off as well as he did. Viggo Mortenson was terrific, and I see a huge career in front of him. However I was impressed the most by Sean Astin as Sam. He was amazing! As far as visuals go, it is superior to anything ever done in cinema. The art direction, costume design, weaponary and special effects are all Oscar material. As for Peter Jackson, no one else could have pulled this movie off. In the future his name will be heard with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Alfred Hitchcock, David Lean, Frances Ford Coppala and many others. Think I"m crazy? Watch and see. So Peter Jackson... I salute you. Also a big congratulations to the entire cast and crew.
One word to descibe this movie:FLAWLESS.
